Given the rising frequency and intensity of natural disasters, it is crucial for professionals in real estate and construction to stay aligned with evolving Building Codes and Standards. At Middlewood Investment Ltd. (MIL), we bring extensive expertise in local, regional, and international building standards, ensuring projects meet and exceed safety and compliance requirements.

Our principal’s qualifications include:
  • Serving as Coordinator for Phase 1 of the CARICOM Regional Building Standards Project (Aug. 2008 – Dec. 2011).
  • Acting as a Technical Officer at the Barbados National Standards Institution (BNSI) from 1996 to 1999, specializing in Engineering and Building Components relevant to the Barbados National Building Code (BNBC 1983 Edition).
  • Completing a certified course in the “Regional Code of Practice for the Construction of Houses” in partnership with SJPP and CDEMA (June 2014).
